PSB Academy to Poly Grads: Go Places With an Industry-Ready Education

SINGAPORE--(Marketwired - May 12, 2016) - PSB Academy has embarked on a campaign to invite polytechnic diploma graduates to "Go Places" with an undergraduate education experience that is more agile, industry-ready, and cosmopolitan.

The integrated campaign will run from mid-May, and which message: "Go Places with PSB Academy" will be carried on digital and social media platforms, at its roadshows, as well as on print, buses, train platforms, bus shelters, outdoor video screens and other out-of-home channels.

"As Singapore's leading private education institute, it is our responsibility to contribute toward creating the workforce of the future by nurturing undergraduates that are industry-ready," said Derrick Chang, Chief Operating Officer for PSB Academy. "In this age of disruption, education needs to get smarter. And there is no better time than now to draw on our heritage in Singapore's productivity movement, and make productivity matter to millennials, parents and influencers today."

Last year, PSB Academy's in-house Graduate and Employment Survey among more than 400 respondents found that its graduates had a 91% employment rate; that 87% of them gained employment within 6 months; that 62% of them benefitted from the courses in forms of pay increment, promotion, switching to a better job and others; and that 2.1 months on average was all it took for graduates to find a job.

"Among Singapore's private education institutions, the success of PSB Academy's unique brand of industry-ready education experience is perhaps its best kept secret," said Marcus Loh, Vice President for Brand, Marketing and Corporate Communication. "As Singapore's original productivity champion, PSB Academy brims with so much potential in this climate that is urgently in need of graduates who are both cosmopolitan and industry-ready. With this campaign for our annual undergraduate fair, we have only just begun to tell our story."

More than 11,000 international and local students enroll at PSB Academy each year in its certification and diploma programs, as well as in the undergraduate degree courses offered by its partner universities from abroad, such as The University of Newcastle, Australia and Coventry University, UK -- which were respectively lauded with earning a number 1 spot among Australian universities under 50 years old, and for being crowned modern university of the year for 3 successive years* -- among other acclaimed programs that are taught on campus.
