Production Print Solutions From Konica Minolta and Kodak Highlighted at Graph Expo 2016 Exhibit

ORLANDO, FL--(Marketwired - September 25, 2016) - Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) and Kodak have joined together at Graph Expo '16 to showcase exciting new industry-leading solutions for the digital production print market.

The AccurioPRESS C2070 will be exhibited as a technology preview with the new CREO™ IC-314 Color Server; the bizhub PRO 1100 will be shown with the CREO™ IC-309m Digital Front End -- a powerful, flexible, and complementary external controller solution for Konica Minolta's monochrome presses; and the bizhub PRESS C71hc will be driven by a CREO™ IC-309 Color Server, the ideal solution for the extended color gamut of the C71hc.

All three Creo controllers share a core architecture with digital front ends designed for high-speed web presses to deliver significant file processing horsepower to cut sheet devices. The IC-314 is the latest implementation of the Creo Color Server platform. With blazing processing speeds, variable data printing capabilities, transactional printing through native IPDS IS/3 solution and built-in connectivity to 3rd party applications, the user will experience unprecedented RIP performance, color consistency, and short turnaround times all which are vital for production print environments. With all these capabilities the IC-314 streamlines operations, boosts quality levels and raises profitability.

The IC-309m CREO controllers drives all of Konica Minolta's monochrome presses including the bizhub PRO 1100, providing a common workflow and user interface for customers with both color and monochrome printing requirements. Konica Minolta can now offer their monochrome customers a powerful controller that can process full variable data at rated speed, has an option for IPDS support and advanced feature set that is found mainly in color controllers

Konica Minolta's extensive portfolio of Creo Color Servers and digital print controllers offer customers superb out-of-box color and image quality combined with unsurpassed job management features and functionality designed specifically to meet the demanding requirements of today's commercial printers. All Creo controllers integrate seamlessly with Prinergy -- the industry-leading workflow solution for both offset and digital print technologies, providing end-users with the ability to fully maximize productivity in a hybrid environment.

"This is a great value integration with our core products and is a move forward in our own transformation," said Dino Pagliarello, vice president, Product Management and Planning, Konica Minolta. "We continue to view our ongoing partnership as a commitment to shaping the future of profit, productivity, and sustainability."
