Prodigy Ventures Inc. Launches iVideo for Apple Watch

TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / December 14, 2015 / Prodigy Ventures Inc. (PGV.V) ("Prodigy" or the "Company") today announced the launch of iVideo for Apple Watch.

iVideo is one the first video sharing platforms available on Apple Watch. iVideo on the small screen brings the social video experience to users on the go, with no need to access their iPhone. With Apple Watch, you can view all the great iVideo content from around the world, right on your wrist. iVideo users create videos on their iPhone or iPad to share with the iVideo community, friends and family, on Apple Watch, Apple TV, iPhone and iPad. Apple Watch users can check out what's trending, see who's nearby, and follow their favourites.

On iPhones and iPads, users can also create and share videos and join in the discussions. iVideo saves all new videos to the iVideo Cloud, and to the user's Camera Roll or iCloud, for easy uploading to Instagram, Vine or other social media platforms. iVideo is also a social video hub, with auto-uploading to Facebook (YouTube and others coming soon). iVideo's unique design is built to enhance every aspect of shooting, sharing and watching videos. It has a 4-way split screen camera mode that can be easily accessed with a simple gesture. Live special effects filters can be pre-selected and changed while recording. In player mode, the split screen can play four videos at once.

In its first iterations, iVideo was the only split-screen video camera and special effects application in Apple's App Store. With almost no marketing effort, iVideo reached over 150,000 downloads in its first eighteen months as a free video camera app. It has a world-wide user base, and has reached the Top 100 list in the Photos and Video category of the Apple App Store in many countries.

iVideo for Android is under construction. This platform is expected to launch in January 2016.

Prodigy's CEO, Tom Beckerman, commented, "We are delighted to be one of the first to bring video sharing to Apple Watch. Our goal with iVideo has been to bring a fun, fresh and unique user experience to social video, across a diverse range of popular platforms. We are delighted to extend that experience and welcome Apple Watch users to the iVideo community."

The marketing web site for iVideo is at http://iVideo.social.

iVideo can be downloaded from the App Store on your Apple TV by searching for iVideo in the App Store app, or on your iPhone or iPad from https://itunes.apple.com/app/ivideo/id525718595?mt=8. The Apple Watch app is downloaded automatically to Apple Watch from the latest version of the iVideo iPhone app.
