William F. Hanna joined Hyland Levin as an associate.
Hanna will be a member of the transactional real estate and finance and multifamily practice groups.
Hanna joins Hyland Levin after serving as a deputy attorney general in the pensions and financial transactions section of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General for the last four years.
He also served as a law clerk in the Chancery Division for Judge Thomas W. Cavanagh Jr. and Judge Patricia Del Bueno Cleary.
Hanna is a graduate of Rutgers Law School-Camden and The College of New Jersey.

Fisher & Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm, added Brian Ellixson to the firm's Philadelphia office as an associate.
As an employment and trade secrets litigator, Ellixson will focus on trade secrets, restrictive covenants, nondisclosure agreements, unfair competition and employee raiding within his practice.
In addition to working with the employee defection and trades secrets and litigation practice groups, he will also work with the data security and workplace privacy practice group on issues related to federal and state data protection laws, security breach response and social media and electronic communication policies.
Ellixson holds a law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School, and a bachelor's from Brown University.
He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Elected and Appointed
More than 80 appointees from across the state have taken leadership roles as 2017-18 chairs of committees and sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Many of the association's policies and positions prompting development of state laws and actions viewed as beneficial to the legal system, courts and public result from actions initiated by the leaders and members of these groups.

Zanita A. Zacks-Gabriel, of The Law Office of Zanita A. Zacks-Gabriel, was renamed chair of the PBA collaborative law committee.
Anne N. John, of John and John, was renamed co-chair of the PBA shale energy law committee.
Forest N. Myers, a past PBA president and principal of the Law Office of Forest N. Myers, was renamed co-chair of the PBA senior lawyers committee.
