PCSP elects new set of officers

Jan. 15—The Parker County Sheriff's Posse has elected a new slate of officers as they prepare for the 77th year of rodeo in Parker County.

The new officers have been sworn in, and are as follows: Captain — Larry Don Walden; Lieutenant — Jamie French; Corral Boss — Dr. Ric Dixon; Wrangler — Ronnie Davis; Past Captain — Shane Harris. Appointed positions are Wesley Jennings — Treasurer and Paul Hardison — Secretary.

Newly elected members of the board of directors are Randy O'Neal, Robert Dyer and Steven Finch, joining second year board members Bill Riddle, Mat Galliton and Seth Denbow. The Rodeo Committee Chairman for this year is Thomas Saunders V., other rodeo committee members are Roudy Turner and Doug Leeper. The Sweetheart for 2024 is Aspen Dixon.

The Parker County Sheriff's Posse was established in 1947 with the mision of preserving Parker County's western heritage.
