During this week’s roundtable, our guest was David Blumberg, Founder and Managing Partner of Blumberg Capital. David has been in the business for a long time, and we had a very interesting chat about the evolution of the venture business over the last 15 years. We also discussed some areas where there are opportunities to build new scalable businesses.

You can listen to the recording of this roundtable here:

Inmovidu

As for the pitches, first up pitching, Mridula Chhetri from Bangalore, India, pitched Inmovidu, an online, interactive learning marketplace for fitness, dance, music, and other disciplines. The go to market strategy for this business needs substantial tightening to get from 30,000 foot level down to specific, monetizable customers.

Pictograph

Then Akshay V. from San Jose, California, pitched Pictograph, a cloud-based QA offering that competes with certain Open Source tools that are not on the cloud. There are some critical questions that this team needs to answer, especially vis-à-vis dynamic pages.

As always, I would very much like to hear about your business, so let me invite you to come and pitch at one of our free 1M/1M public roundtables. We will be holding future roundtables at 8 a.m. PDT on:
