Austin, TX -- Nov 13, 2013 / (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- South Meck High School Sabres in Charlotte, North Carolina (home team) v. Ardrey Kell H. S. Knights (visitor) Football Game: it was senior night, and South Meck`s final home game. All the band seniors (including cheerleading and football players) were presented and honored at half-time. Their college plans were announced as each senior walked across the field with their families. The Marching Band played throughout the evening in the stands and performed parts of their 2013 award-winning show "Tempered Steel."
"The presentation of the $2,000 check for the winning charity video was presented at the end of the 1st quarter," says Cherilyn Jones, one of South Meck`s proud parents. The band, parents, and boosters went absolutely crazy in the stands when the award was announced. "This was a huge honor for us to be chosen," continued Cherilyn Jones.
Open Mortgage was proud to help South Meck`s Marching Band as they continue to raise money to remodel their traveling marching band trailer. Go Sabres!
