Michael Senese, the newly appointed chief of security for courtswithin New York City, was sworn in Tuesday at a ceremony at theBronx Criminal Court.
In his new capacity, Senese will oversee security measures andsafety procedures in the trial-level courts in New York Citys fiveboroughs.
He succeeds Michael Magliano, who was promoted to chief ofpublic safety. Senese, who began his career as a court officer in1991, was most recently a major in Bronx Criminal Court.
