NVIDIA made an announcement about its initiative to create their AI supercomputers in the United States exclusively. NVIDIA is partnering with some of the top manufacturers: TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor, and SPIL. They are committing 1,000,000 square feet for U.S.-based manufacturing and testing space.

Production of NVIDIA’s next-gen Blackwell chips has begun at TSMC's site in Phoenix, Arizona. Supercomputer manufacturing will take place in Texas using Foxconn in Houston and Wistron in Dallas, with broader production expected in the next 12-15 months.

To cope with the complexity of producing the AI chips, NVIDIA is working with Amkor and SPIL for chip packaging and testing in Arizona as well. The company aims to produce up to $500 billion of AI infrastructure within the nation in four years.

NVIDIA AI supercomputers power the next-gen “AI factories”—custom-built data centers optimized for artificial intelligence workloads. The initiative is projected to generate hundreds of thousands of jobs and solidify U.S. economic and technological dominance for the long haul.

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s CEO, said the move was of strategic significance, saying, “The engines of the world’s AI infrastructure are being built in the United States for the first time.” Local manufacturing will also enhance supply chain resilience and meet the surging global demand, he added.

NVIDIA will use its technologies — the Omniverse in particular for factory digital twins and Isaac GR00T for automated robotics — to design and operate these next-gen manufacturing plants.

Interestingly, combining the power of artificial intelligence with secure, distributed technology, AI Agent tokens are digital tokens used to run or oversee AI services on a blockchain. At the time of writing, the total market cap of the AI agent token is slightly above $3 billion, which indicates a minor increase in the last 24 hours. However, the trading volume of AI agents has slowed significantly, dropping by nearly a quarter.
