WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Five Below has announced an opening date for its new Wisconsin Rapids store.
According to a banner on the building, Five Below will hold its grand opening Nov. 10. The banner also announces the store is hiring and directs people to apply through its website.
Five Below is one of four retailers who were announced in March to fill the former Shopko building along Riverview Expressway. In May, the company confirmed its plans to the Daily Tribune and said it would open its Wisconsin Rapids location in early winter.
The Pennsylvania-based retail store aimed at "tweens, teens and beyond" will be the second of the four retailers to open in the former big box store. Harbor Freight opened in July on the end of the building closest to 12th Street. Big Lots and Marshalls have also confirmed plans to open at the site, but neither has shared any timeline for opening.
