NIKO: JOURNEY TO MAGIKA, Red Giant's First Animated Movie Premieres on Hulu

NIKO: JOURNEY TO MAGIKA chronicles a young boy's hair-raising adventures in a fantastical land of myths and monsters on a search for his kidnapped grandparents. This full-length all-ages fantasy film was rendered in a colorful mix of traditional hand-drawn animation and computer-generated imagery. The film's Hulu premiere is in anticipation of the MAGIKA tie-in comic serial's debut in GIANT-SIZE ADVENTURE, Red Giant's free double-sized ad-supported comic book boasting a monthly circulation of 1 million copies.

While Hulu can be accessed for free from any computer Web browser, those with a Hulu Plus subscription can also view Hulu on connected TVs, Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, set-top boxes, mobile phones, tablets and more.

The Hulu deal was brokered by Inception Media Group, the worldwide sales agent for NIKO: JOURNEY TO MAGIKA. Inception is also in the process of selling the film in all territories through its foreign sales subsidiary Inception Film Partners.

NIKO: JOURNEY TO MAGIKA is presented by Red Giant, Glass House Graphics and Cutting Edge Productions. The film was produced by David Campiti and executive produced by Jessie Lasaten, Benny Powell, Isen Robbins and Aimee Schoof. Directed by Robert Quilao, the film's screenplay was written by The New York Times bestselling author David Lawrence, Temi Abad and Eric Cabahug. The film made its North American premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
