Andy Auchenbach has officially joined the ownership team of New Castle Lawn and Landscape, marking an exciting new chapter in its leadership. Auchenbach has been a valued member of New Castle since 2010, bringing with him a deep passion for the outdoors and an extensive background in tree care and safety.

Auchenbach earned his associate’s degree in forest technology from Pennsylvania College of Technology and has pursued advanced training in tree care and risk management from esteemed institutions such as Penn State Cooperative Extension, Morris Arboretum, and the International Society of Arboriculture. As a certified tree risk assessor, Auchenbach ‘s expertise in tree safety and risk management is unmatched in the industry, helping New Castle continue to deliver exceptional service to its clients.
In addition to his tree care expertise, Auchenbach is trained in basic wild land firefighting and holds an Oregon chainsaw certification, further demonstrating his commitment to ensuring the safety and health of the environments he works in.
Outside of work, Auchenbach is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys archery, hunting, and fishing.

Barley Snyder attorney Beth M. Kohl has been elected president of The Friends of Reading Hospital.

For more than 130 years, The Friends of Reading Hospital has helped further Reading Hospital’s mission of providing accessible and high-quality healthcare to the community, promoting healthy lifestyles, educating healthcare professionals, and participating in clinical research. The volunteer organization hosts various fundraising events throughout the year, using the proceeds to award grants to programs and services within the hospital and the community. Kohl originally joined the group in 2015. She served as chairwoman of the Reading Hospital Road Run committee for several years and currently sits on the advisory committee.
Kohl is a member of Barley Snyder’s Real Estate, Construction and Land Use practice groups. She regularly represents private and public clients in land use and zoning matters, municipal law, and real estate transactions. She is a member of both the Pennsylvania and Berks County Bar Associations. In addition to her leadership roles with The Friends of Reading Hospital, she serves on the board of directors of Berks Nature.
Abilities In Motion
Christopher Kolb has been hired by Abilities in Motion, to serve as the organization’s Assistive Technology and Gaming Manager.

In his new role, Kolb will run the eSports and Gaming Center operations. He is focused on building the community aspect of gaming so players can congregate in a dedicated space instead of feeling isolated and confined to their homes. He will manage hours of operation, schedule dedicated gaming time, and host learn-to-play sessions. Kolb is also working on adding a gaming console area featuring PlayStation 5s, Xbox Series Xs, Nintendo Switches, and other popular gaming platforms. Team and individual recruitment has already begun and as part of Kolb’s responsibilities, he will help new players join a team or start their own.
Prior to being hired by Abilities In Motion, Kolb was a systems administrator at 2K Games. He is a graduate of Arcadia University, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
Fulton Bank
Fulton Bank has named Jeffrey R. Rush as executive market president for the Greater Philadelphia/South Jersey region. In the new role, Rush will provide regional leadership and ensure collaboration across consumer, business banking, commercial, and wealth management lines of business throughout the Greater Philadelphia and southern New Jersey markets. In addition, he will lead a team of market presidents serving other geographical areas throughout Fulton Bank’s five-state footprint.
