Netflix wins its first Emmy
Netflix scored a first win at the Emmys Sunday night, where David Fincher was recognized as the best director for a drama series for House of Cards. Netflix was nominated for a total of 14 Emmys, and may have hoped for more, like an Emmy for best drama – but the video service still made history for scoring the first win for a show that premiered online.
