How much of Hillary's success can be attributed to her Voice and Body Language?

With the backdrop of my previous two artcicles here on the Linkedin Influencers platform, Present with the Voice of a Superwoman and Present with the Body Language of a Superwoman, I would like to start a healthy and informative discussion/debate that will get us thinking further and deeper about the impact of voice and body language in leadership roles, particularly for women, now and going forward.

As Hillary Clinton makes history by becoming the first woman nominated for president by a major U.S. party, I am very keen to hear your thoughts on this main question...

In your opinion, how much of Hillary's success in this campaign can be attributed to her Voice and Body Language? I ask you please to keep this conversation purely in the arena of the question that has been posed. If we veer of into politics and policies it's going to go all over the place. So, what resonates for you in terms of communication skills? What advice would you give to other women in leadership positions right now? What thoughts, tips and advice would you like to share with future female leaders of the next generation?

Before you dive in, please also watch and listen to the first two to three minutes of Hillary Clinton's foreiegn policy speech below and observe her body language, facial expression, tone of voice, speed of delivery and pauses. Then watch and listen to the next video of the UK's first (and still only) female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher's voice evolution, from her early years of leadership to the period towards the end of her period in office.

I look forward to receiving your contributions to this conversation. I beleive it will make a very interesting future article on communication skills in leadership, particulary for women, and I will be very happy to write up such an article and post it here on the Influencers platform.

Again I ask you please to keep this conversation purely in the arena of the question that has been posed and not into politics and policies.
