McDonald's, Wendy's and more have free fries Tuesday for National Fry Day 2021

Tuesday is a day with deals to dip.
It’s National French Fry Day, or National Fry Day or Fry Day, and restaurants nationwide are frying up the freebies or discounting potatoes.
Fast-food giants McDonald’s and Wendy’s are both offering free fries with purchases Tuesday when consumers use their mobile apps. The made-up food holiday is held annually on July 13.
The Golden Arches also is hosting a “World Famous Fan” contest where 66 fans will win 1 million MyMcDonald’s Rewards points and one fan will win free fries for life, a prize valued at $19,685.
Here are discounts and offers available Tuesday, July 13, at participating locations. Offers can vary and most times are offered while supplies last. To be on the safe side, always check with your closest location before heading out. Also, some will require you to have a restaurant's app or be signed up for emails.
Arby's: If you're signed up for the chain's emails, get a free large fries with a purchase when you show an email through July 18. Choose either curly or crinkle fries. For a limited time, Arby's has $1 kids meals with the purchase of a regular-priced meal.
Big Deal Burger: The virtual brand operating out of select Dickey's locations is giving away free seasoned or Cajun fries with any sandwich purchase when you use the code FREEFRIES at checkout.
Checkers: Get $1 any size fries Tuesday at the double drive-thru restaurant franchise. The chain, which includes Rally's, also says each full dollar spent on fries, up to $100,000, will be donated to No Kid Hungry. The fry celebration continues with "Fry Freak Week," which will include a TikTok challenge, prizes and more.
Fatburger: Through Sunday, get a free order of French fries with any purchase. When ordering in the restaurant, mention the deal and online use code FrenchFryDay21.
McDonald's is giving away free fries for its World Famous Fan Day on July 13. It's also National French Fry Day.
Jack in the Box: The chain has dubbed Tuesday as National Curly Fry Day and is giving free curly fries with app orders.
Krispy Kreme: This is a different kind of a fried deal. With a valid COVID-19 vaccination card, get a free glazed doughnut through the end of the year.
McDonald's: Members of the MyMcDonalds Rewards program get free orders of medium fries Tuesday with an app deal. Also, enter McDonald's contest for a chance to win free fries for life.Learn more here.
PDQ: While not a deal, this is a special item only available Fry Day. The chain, which stands for People Dedicated to Quality, has a Waffle Fry Shake Tuesday, which is a chocolate shake topped with waffle fries, whipped cream and a cherry. It’s $3.99 for a small and $5.29 for regular size.

Smashburger: All regular size Smash Fries, regular fries and sweet potato fries are $1 with the purchase of any burger or sandwich Tuesday. The company says all proceeds from the $1 fries will go to local Boys & Girls Clubs near participating Smashburger locations.
Wayback Burgers: Purchase a burger or sandwich through the restaurant's app Tuesday and get a free side of fries.
Wendy's:Get free large fries with any purchase Tuesday with an in-app offer. Apply the mobile offer to your mobile order or scan in-restaurant or in the drive-thru. Account registration is required. Not valid for delivery orders placed outside the Wendy's app.
White Castle: With a coupon, get free small fries with any purchase Tuesday in-store or through the White Castle app. For online orders, use the code FRYDAY.
Wing Boss: The virtual brand operating out of 69 Dickey's locations is giving away free seasoned or Cajun fries with an order of 10 of more wings when you use the code FREEFRIES at checkout.
