The Marriott-owned Courtyard San Jose Airport property has reopened its doors after completing a $15m multi-year renovation.

Strategically located near the Norman Y Mineta San Jose International Airport in California, US, the hotel now provides enhanced services and amenities to business and leisure travellers visiting Silicon Valley.

Owned by global investment manager Beach Point Capital, the hotel features 199 guest rooms, encompassing 13 suites, featuring spa-style bathrooms, workstations, and flat-panel TVs.

While Crestline Hotels & Resorts manages the five-storey hotel, the asset management is overseen by private equity company ASAP Holdings on behalf of Beach Point Capital.

ASAP Holdings chief information officer Jerome Yuan said: “We are excited to open the reimagined Courtyard San Jose and to collaborate with Crestline as the manager of the property. Crestline has extensive experience managing Marriott-branded properties and is well known in the market for its unparalleled reputation for excellence in financial performance and guest service.

“Given Crestline’s strong track record and this beautiful new hotel’s prime location in the Bay Area, we are confident that we can deliver a unique and enjoyable experience for guests.”

The property offers the Inspire Ballroom for events and meetings. It can accommodate up to 250 guests and can be divided into three sections, as well as a technology meeting room for private gatherings.

Guests at the hotel can enjoy The Bistro, which offers American cuisine, beers, and cocktails, and The Crate, a deli-style market providing a range of grab-and-go food and snacks.

The property also features a 1,600ft² fitness centre, which is equipped with a rowing station, a yoga station, a hydration station, ellipticals, cycles, free weights, and mats.

Other facilities include on-site guest laundry services while covered parking is offered at a charge.

The property provides a complimentary airport transfer service and is situated near various attractions such as the San Jose McEnery Convention Centre, Levi Stadium, San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, and Stanford University.

The renovation of the Courtyard San Jose Airport follows the recent refurbishment of another Marriott property, The Courtyard Virginia Beach Oceanfront/South, earlier this month.
