11 October 2017 Market Update("Ecovista" or "the Company")
Ecovista PLC has bought an 80% stake in Start Hill Limited, a special purpose vehicle, which owns the property "Marstons", a 4-bedroom property near to Stansted Airport.
The shares were purchased for the sum of £532,000. Louise Stokely has joined the board of Start Hill Limited. This purchase came from the Company`s own funds.
Willside Limited, the Company`s wholly owned subsidiary, has also bought a one year option for £10,000 to buy the next-door property to "Marstons" called "Barnmead" for the sum of 1,300,000.
The directors believe that the two combined plots which covers 1.72 acres has good chance of obtaining further development planning.
The Company has also repaid the loan of an amount of £100,000 to DHD Impex PTE, one of its convertible loan notes holders, that was issued on 3rd November 2015.
