Marriott International's Four Points by Sheraton has opened a new hotel in Ha Giang, Vietnam, welcoming guests from December 24.

This marks the brand's third establishment in Vietnam and the first international hotel presence in Ha Giang city.

The hotel, towering at 20 floors, boasts 151 luxury rooms, catering to a variety of guests, from families to business travellers.

Each room at the Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang ranges from 36m2 to 177m2.

Culinary offerings at the hotel include both local and international dishes served at the Ha Giang Kitchen restaurant. Guests can enjoy local beer at the Lobby Lounge - Best Brew, while Ruou Bar provides a selection of cocktails.

Apart from these, the hotel's amenities comprise a swimming pool, a relaxing spa, and a 24-hour fitness centre.

For events and functions, the Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang offers a flexible event space, which also features a ballroom.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Provincial People's Committee Standing vice-chairman Hoang Gia Long said: “The opening of Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang Hotel is a clear demonstration of the province's open and effective investment environment.

“The operation of Four Points by Sheraton Ha Giang Hotel will mark an important development step of Ha Giang tourism industry and bring many practical benefits such as: Improving the quality of tourism services; contributing to promoting the image of Ha Giang; creating jobs and increasing income for people; promoting the socio-economic development of the province.”

Marriott International announced a partnership with New Development Group last month to bring Shanghai its second EDITION Hotel in 2026.

In May, Four Points by Sheraton Seattle Airport South, a 225-room property in Des Moines, Washington, US chose The Hotel Group (THG), an affiliate of Hotel Equities (HE), to manage the property.

The latest move to manage Four Points by Sheraton Seattle Airport South is part of THG’s continued expansion efforts.
