Marijuana Company of America, Inc. Appoints Officers to Its Management Team

BONSALL, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 14, 2015) - MARIJUANA COMPANY OF AMERICA ("MCOA" or the Company") (OTC PINK: MCOA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Cronin as Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Bob Mack Peak as Chief Marketing Officer. Majority consent for the appointments was received from shareholders and unanimously approved by the Board of Directors on December 9, 2015.

Mr. Cronin and Mr. Peak are seasoned executives that have significant experience launching, developing and managing early stage companies, with a specific focus on operations, technology, marketing and sales. Both gentlemen have vast experience and knowledge in the cannabis industry that will bring significant value to the MCOA management team. Joining MCOA from their positions as founders of Red Llama Trading, Cronin and Peak extend the MCOA brand to ailment-specific cannabis solutions while advancing the Company's product strategy.

Mr. Cronin has extensive experience working with cannabis cultivators, processors, and product developers and will manage MCOA's supply chain, as well as develop the Company's operating infrastructure. Mr. Peak will focus on branding MCOA, overseeing quality assurance, and guiding the development of the Company's various technology platforms and implementing next-generation systems to support MCOA's growth, quality, and service goals. Both gentlemen ensure MCOA's focus of providing a wide range of the highest quality cannabis-based offerings.

Robert Cronin is a co-founder and the CEO of Red Llama Trading. He has been a senior executive in product development, sales, and marketing for the hardware, software and financial services industries. Robert's expertise is in developing large-scale partnerships in vertical markets. Prior positions include executive roles with CSC, Computer Associates, Tandem Computers, Amdahl Corporation, and Fujitsu establishing third party reseller programs that significantly increased sales and distribution markets worldwide. His skills at market forecasting and analysis, development, creativity and partner management helped the entities he has worked with successfully reach their goals.

Additionally, Robert has founded 4 start-up companies: Wye Technologies, SUMA Technologies, Second Opinion Medical Systems and Palms Prepaid. Ranging from technology systems to medical services and financial services, these companies focused on partnering and vertical market development. Robert has a degree from University of Washington, Seattle, and completed graduate work at the University of Santa Clara. Robert was a U.S. Army Artillery officer and is also an accomplished artist and musician.
