ATLANTA, May 13, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Manhattan Associates Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH), a global leader in supply chain commerce solutions, today announced the retirements of John J. Huntz, Jr., and Deepak Raghavan from its Board of Directors, effective May 13.

Mr. Huntz served on the Manhattan Board and as Chair of its Audit Committee for over 26 years, and as Chairman of the Board for the last 22 years. Dr. Raghavan co-founded Manhattan in 1990, served as its head of technology, and then its head of product strategy, as well as on its Board, through 2002. Since then, he has continued to serve on the Board, including as Chair of its Nomination and Governance Committee.

Following the retirement of Mr. Huntz and Dr. Raghavan, the Board has appointed Eddie Capel as Executive Chairman of the Board. Mr. Capel joined Manhattan in 2000, served as President and CEO from 2013 to February 2025, and has been a board member since July 2012. Most recently, since his retirement as President and CEO in February, Mr. Capel has served as Executive Vice-Chairman of the Board.

Manhattan’s Board also appointed current Board member Thomas E. Noonan as the Board’s Lead Independent Director and Danielle Sheer as a director.

Mr. Noonan has served on Manhattan’s Board since 1999, and as a member of its Audit and Compensation Committees, most recently serving as the Compensation Committee Chair. Mr. Noonan is co-founder and current general partner of TechOperators, LLC, an Atlanta-based venture capital firm and has served as a director of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc., since September 2016. He previously co-founded, and is former chairman, president, and CEO, of Internet Security Systems (sold to IBM).

Ms. Sheer serves as Chief Trust Officer at Commvault Systems, Inc., a B2B provider of data protection and data management software, and is on the Board of LinkSquares, Inc., a provider of leading contract management software. Ms. Sheer added, "I am honored to join such a distinguished organization and look forward to working collaboratively with my fellow Board members to support management in identifying and advancing strategic growth opportunities."

Mr. Capel commented: "Mr. Huntz and Dr. Raghavan have had an immeasurable impact on our Manhattan community. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Huntz’s steady leadership, wisdom and financial acumen as both Chairman and Audit Committee Chair helped create an environment in which company management has been able to focus on our accomplishing our strategic objectives.

"Dr. Raghavan, through his conceptualization and development of Manhattan’s first warehouse management system 35 years ago, laid the groundwork for what has become the world’s leading supply chain software and services company. And his stewardship of our best practices in corporate governance while heading up our Governance Committee has been invaluable."
