Lum nominated for TIME Dealer of the Year award

TIME has announced the nomination of Lori Lum, dealer principal and owner at Lum’s Auto Center in Warrenton, for the 2025 TIME Dealer of the Year award.

She is one of 49 dealer nominees countrywide who will be honored at the 108th annual National Automobile Dealers Association Show in New Orleans on Jan. 25.

Lum was nominated for the award by Greg Remensperger, executive vice president of the Oregon Auto Dealers Association, where Lum serves on the board.

The award recognizes the nation’s most successful auto dealers, who also demonstrate a commitment to community service. Lum served as a member of the Seaside School Board for four years, helping secure funding to upgrade to a new facility.

She sponsors scholarships for local graduating high school seniors, and has supported the Start Making A Reader Today (SMART) program, Gearhart playground project, multiple sports teams and art programs for students, Camp Kilwanilong and numerous other organizations and nonprofits.

One finalist from each of the four National Automobile Dealers Association regions will be selected, and one national Dealer of the Year. Three finalists will receive $5,000 for their favorite charities; the winner will receive $10,000 to give to charity.
