Software developer Intapp picked up the supplier innovationtechnology award for its workflow application, which enables usersto integrate their various IT systems and automate processes thatwould otherwise need to be executed manually.
The Intapp Flow web-based app helps IT departments connectdifferent business applications across multiple systems withoutneeding to write complex scripts or custom code, as is often thecase when integrating legacy systems. This has proved a useful toolfor law firms that need to integrate their tech infrastructure withGuidewire an electronic supply chain management platform used byinsurance companies to securely link their systems with externalsuppliers and vendors. That means insurers can provide instructionson claims to their legal panels without needing to send endlessemails and attachments. It also removes the need for law firms tore-enter the same information into their own systems, eliminatingany potential for error.
By allowing law firms and insurance companies to align their ITsystems, claim handlers will have greater visibility on theprogress of claims in real time, alerting them to status updatesand allowing them to process and resolve claims much more quicklyand accurately.
Solves a major inefficiency, one judge commented.
