Largest option trades in equities
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Radian Group (RDN): Some 5,000 July 14 calls were purchased, most of which priced for $0.35 to $0.45, as investors looked for upside in the share price. RDN rose 2.06 percent to $14.40.
NextEra Energy (NEE): Some 4,700 July 100 calls were purchased for $0.75 to $1.10 as investors look for the utility stock to rally. NEE rose 0.67 percent to $99.49.
SPDR Consumer Staples Fund (XLP): An investor bought 11,000 weekly 44.50 puts expiring on July 25 for $0.20 and $0.16, hedging against a pullback in the broader sector. XLP fell 0.23 percent to $45.17.
