Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Onyx Pharmaceuticals (ONXX): An investor bought 10,000 October 120 calls for $4.80 and sold an equal number of October 125 calls for $0.10. Known as a bullish call spread, the trade will leverage a push to the $125 level where the company has agreed to be purchased. ONXX rose 5.71 percent to $123.64.

Facebook (FB): More than 10,000 September 42 calls were purchased, with large blocks pricing for $1.28 to $1.55, as investors position for more upside in the social-media stock. FB rose 2.84 percent to $41.70.

Intel (INTC): More than 8,000 weekly calls were purchased at the 22.50 strike as traders look for a quick rebound in the semiconductor giant. Premiums mostly ranged from $0.12 to $0.20. INTC rose 0.09 percent to $22.46.
