JW Marriott has introduced the new JW Marriott Auckland, marking the brand's first property in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Having undergone a significant transformation, JW Marriott Auckland offers 271 guest rooms. This includes 15 suites, with the 133m² Presidential Suite providing views of the city skyline.
The hotel's accommodation options include the 79m² open-plan Ambassador Suite and the two-bedroom Governor Suite, which offers a 171m² living area complete with a kitchen.
The property was designed by Singapore-based architecture company O37, with its creative director Leonard Lee leading the project.
All suites are equipped with Technogym fitness accessories and a minibar experience known as the Refuel Bar.
Marriott International Australia, New Zealand and Pacific area vice-president Jason Nuell said: "JW Marriott Auckland is a destination where both locals and international travellers can experience a blend of modern luxury and exceptional hospitality in the heart of the city to pause, recharge, and reconnect."
Guest rooms also feature yoga mats and risers, complemented by a wellness and workout programme designed for in-room use.
The property also offers several dining options and a 220m² wellness centre, which includes a 14m-long heated indoor pool.
In addition, the hotel features six event spaces, including the JW Ballroom, a pillarless ballroom equipped with a 7m-wide LED screen and two additional 4m-wide screens, capable of hosting up to 220 guests in a banquet setting.
JW Marriott is a brand within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of more than 30 hotel brands.
In March, Marriott International expanded its global presence by partnering with Mullen Real Estate Capital to launch an all-inclusive JW Marriott property in Costa Elena, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
"JW Marriott Auckland marks brand’s entry in Aotearoa, New Zealand" was originally created and published by Hotel Management Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
