JAMUL, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A new hotel is under construction at Jamul Casino.

The 16-story tower will feature 200 hotel rooms, a pedestrian sky bridge, restaurant, retail space, meeting and banquet facilities, full-service spa and salon with an outdoor deck, fitness center, luxury guest rooms and suites for VIP guests, rooftop pool deck with a jetted hot tub, cabanas and a rooftop bar, the casino said in a news release Tuesday.

On Friday, the Jamul Casino team celebrated the final steel beam raised to the top of the tower during a ceremony.

“After years of conceptualizing and planning, we are proud to mark this significant milestone in Jamul Casino’s history,” said Erica M. Pinto, Chairwoman of the Jamul Indian Village and Chairwoman of the JIVDC Board. “We are appreciative of our partners at C.W. Driver Companies as they help bring this vision to life, and we cannot wait to open the hotel doors and invite guests to experience it for themselves next year.”

The hotel is set to open in spring 2025.
