TAIPEI, TAIWAN--(Marketwired - May 30, 2016) - The Taipei Computer Association (TCA), one of the main organizers of COMPUTEX, states that in response to the trend of innovative technology applications, TCA has newly established the InnoVEX Startup Exhibit in 2016, in the hopes of creating a platform for startups, venture capitalists, manufacturers and ICT professionals to exchange ideas through the "Exhibition x Forum x Demo x Pitch Contest x Networking Party x Matchmaking" interaction model at COMPUTEX to encourage transnational cross-industry exchange. Also, by organizing nearly one hundred startup company product demos, TCA hopes to inspire the global ICT industry, and allow diverse innovative products and IoT applications to accelerate commercialization and market promotion by cooperating with the ICT value chain that is presented at COMPUTEX.
TCA points out that 217 startups and corporations from 22 countries and regions have joined InnoVEX this year, the 240 booths will showcase teams including Addweup, Astrotek Integration, BeckieTech, Blocks, CareMonkey, Connecterra, Cupple, Dronamics, HAP2U, Garage+, Glamorfy, GMobi, IDEAS Show, iStaging, Joyray Tech, Konolabs, Looking Glass, Lucid VR, MoBagel, NextDrive, oTHE Technology, SkyREC, Think Cloud, Toii, XROUND, etc. The displayed products include a wide array of applications in 5 main fields including Hardware & IoT, B2B Software, Consumer Technology, Cloud Applications and Health Tech. In addition, nearly 10 startups are launching finance technology (FinTech) related applications and services; other startups are proposing cross-industry applications in energy efficiency, agriculture, stock raising, education, water resource management and internet of vehicles. The contest has attracted 102 teams from 17 countries to apply.
