Implant Sciences Provides QS-B220 Qualification Testing Update

WILMINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - Oct 26, 2012) - Implant Sciences Corporation ( OTCQB : IMSC ), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security and defense markets, is pleased to provide the following update regarding the air cargo screening qualification testing process for its QS-B220 explosives and narcotics trace detector by the Transportation Security Laboratory ("TSL"), the testing body of the Transportation Security Administration ("TSA").

Independent testing began in early October, after we were notified that we had successfully completed certification readiness.
