IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered a management agreement with Gauri Resort & Banquet Services to introduce Holiday Inn Express & Suites property in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The property is slated for a 2027 launch and aligns with IHG's expansion across India, focusing on meeting the market's growing demands.

The new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hapur will offer 120 rooms and a range of facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, a business centre, and dedicated meeting spaces.

The hotel aims to attract both business and leisure travellers with its flexible design. Additional amenities will include a fitness centre and parking.

It will be integrated into a larger mixed-use development that includes over 75,000ft² of space for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE), and social events.

IHG has an ambitious pipeline with an additional 60 hotels expected to open within the next three to five years.

Presently, it operates 47 properties across six brands in India—including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort, and Holiday Inn Express.

Since its establishment in 1990, Holiday Inn Express has more than 3,200 properties globally.

In May 2024, IHG entered an agreement with GPKP for Holiday Inn Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, which will feature 95 rooms and various amenities.
