HP ElitePad Mobile Retail Solution makes mobile commerce easy
The HP ElitePad Mobile Retail Solution helps deliver great customer service and improve operational efficiency with a mobile solution driven by the HP ElitePad 1000 Windows®-based tablet. With a durable case to help protect the tablet, the solution accepts a range of third-party payment entry devices, and easily connects to the HP Retail Expansion Dock for an instant fixed POS workspace -- providing a smooth transition from mobile to traditional POS.

The unique case solution allows retailers to physically attach a mobile payment device (PED or PIN entry device) of choice to the case from vendors like Ingenico Group, Verifone and AnywhereCommerce, and accept a range of payments such as EMV, NFC, MSR, and most digital wallets. Ideal for small and medium-size businesses, the solution also features Intel® Data Protection Technology for secure transactions. Additionally, HP is working with Microsoft and FreedomPay on the RealTime Retailing initiative. HP's suite of connected devices leverage transaction data from the FreedomPay platform and intelligence on the Azure cloud to deliver secure and targeted incentives to customers.
