House Party, Inc. Introduces Video Reviews

IRVINGTON, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 10, 2014) - Leading social marketing company House Party, Inc. has announced a new video-review capability that will allow brands to encourage and utilize authentic user-generated video reviews from participants of their House Party or Chatterbox™ campaigns.

Last year, House Party added written product reviews to its list of capabilities, with brands able to drive reviews on the House Party platform and on client or third-party sites, like Amazon or Walmart. Now, in addition to posting text-based reviews, consumers can upload videos showing their experience with or reaction to the featured product. Once posted, video testimonials can be easily pushed to Facebook, Twitter and other channels through House Party's seamless social-sharing tools.

"Many of our partner brands feel -- and we agree -- that video is among the most engaging ways for advocates to show their love of favorite products," said House Party Chief Technology Officer Mike Hermus. "A House Party has long been the best way for brands to find their most passionate fans and empower them to drive trial and word of mouth; with our new video reviews, those branded experiences will result in even more valuable content, letting brands -- and other consumers -- see and hear what these influential advocates have to say."

Research shows that 70% of consumers consult reviews before making online purchases. By generating more compelling testimonials through video, House Party will help brands further harness their advocates' passion to drive more word of mouth and sales.

Video reviews are available now for both House Party and Chatterbox campaigns.
