Drivers of the Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX EVs will have access to Tesla’s Supercharger network in June.

Honda is the latest to join a growing list of automakers gaining access to Tesla’s fast-charging technology, according to a March press release. Other EV makers with access to Tesla’s network include Volvo, Ford, General Motors, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Lucid, Nissan and Rivian.

By the end of 2025, almost all major EV brands will have some access to Tesla’s expansive network, which has more than 25,000 DC fast-charging EV ports. Most automakers offer supercharger compatibility via adapters that allow their vehicles to use Tesla’s North American Charging Standard ports, though Hyundai’s 2025 Ioniq 5 comes with a NACS outlet, as will future Mercedes-Benz and Rivian vehicles.

“Adding Tesla Supercharger network access to the charging networks already available to our EV customers means industry-leading fast-charging access for Honda and Acura EV drivers,” Ryan Harty, assistant vice president of sustainability and business development at the American arm of Honda, said in a statement.

He said Honda’s goal by the end of the decade is to provide Honda and Acura EV drivers with access to the most convenient charging network in the country.

The estimated 100,000 U.S. charge points include ports in the Tesla Supercharger network, the EVgo network, the Electrify America network and the new Ionna fast-charging network. Ionna is a joint venture among several automakers including Honda, BMW, General Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis and Toyota that launched its first charging station in February.

Honda’s adapter for the Tesla Supercharger network was tested for safety and compatibility with the automaker’s EVs. The adapter will be available for purchase at Honda and Acura dealerships in June.
