HONG KONG, CHINA--(Marketwired - Jul 22, 2015) - Herbalife, a leading nutrition company, are providing nutrition support to athletes from six Asia Pacific country teams who will participate in the 2015 Special Olympics World Games, held from July 25-August 2, 2015, in Los Angeles, United States. The sponsorship is in line with a global initiative in which Herbalife partners with LA2015, the Organizing Committee for the Games, to assist in meeting the nutritional needs of athletes and coaches from 165 countries.

In the Asia Pacific, Herbalife are providing additional support for 248 athletes in six country teams: Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand and Thailand, who will compete in sports ranging from track and field, through swimming, skating and kayaking, to table tennis, badminton and soccer. The support for the Asia Pacific athletes centers on enhancing nutrition, through providing Herbalife nutrition products. Some athletes are also receiving apparel kits, and advice on nutrition to derive maximum benefit from training, and prepare for competitions.
