Scott L. Fordham has joined the company as chief executive officer. During his career, Fordham has led both dynamic business enterprises and entrepreneurial ventures. He was most recently associated with Champion Energy Services as president, board member and chief executive officer, leading the company to its ranking as a top 10 retail electric provider in the United States and ranking as "Highest in Residential Customer Satisfaction with Retail Electric Services," according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2010-2013 Texas Residential Retail Electric Provider Customer Satisfaction Study(TM), making it the first retail electricity provider in Texas to receive the award for four consecutive years. Fordham was also co-founder, president and chief executive officer of NetVersant Solutions, a multi-location provider of integrated network infrastructure solutions, and executive vice president of operations for publicly traded Consolidated Graphics, Inc., where he was also president of its Houston flagship, Chas. P. Young Co. A certified public accountant, Fordham's career began at Arthur Andersen LLP where he was senior manager of the firm's audit practice.
Posie M. Clinton, founder of Guard 1 Services, serves as president, leading business development and sales activities, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations. Clinton is a veteran in the security industry with more than 20 years of experience in the field, most recently at Dowley Security Systems, a leading provider of turnkey technology and integration and electronic security systems for critical infrastructure and commercial markets. Previously in his career, Clinton was integral in the growth of several leading providers of security solutions, including The Wackenhut Corporation, where he served as general manager, iidon Security Associates, Inc. as regional vice president, where he opened the Houston/South Texas-area office, and Allied/Barton Protective Services, Inc., where, as business development manager, he successfully expanded the business into petrochemical services. Clinton has also held leadership positions with several trade organizations, most recently as president for American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
R. Chad Wetmore recently joined Guard 1 Services as vice president, responsible for operations, finance and corporate development. Wetmore brings more than 18 years of management, corporate development and finance experience, most recently at publicy traded Service Corporate International, North America's leading provider of deathcare products and service, where he negotiated and integrated dozens of corporate mergers and acquisitions, spearheaded business unit corporate strategy and managed transactions for the business development group. Earlier in his career, Wetmore worked in the financial services industry, both at Merrill Lynch as finance manager and Sanwa Bank California as a commercial banking officer.
Houston-based Guard 1 Services provides integrated security services for the energy industry and large landowners.
