KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwired - Nov 4, 2013) - For the second year in a row, one of superscholar.org's "20 Most Influential Living Economists" and honorary dean of Grantham University's School of Business, Dr. Mark Skousen, will kick off the Kauffman Foundation's Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) at the Kansas City Central Library. GEW started as an idea in 2007, and is now the world's largest celebration of the innovators who bring their ideas from the drawing board to the business world.
Dr. Skousen will present, "Bears Make Headlines, Bulls Make Money: Is Wall Street the Entrepreneurs Best Friend?" He will examine why getting involved in capital markets remains the best and cheapest way to finance entrepreneurship and new innovation. He will also share his personal experiences with some of the biggest names in investing, including Warren Buffet.
After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, and Dr. Skousen will be on hand to autograph his latest book, "The Maxims of Wall Street."
