German union, DHL agree to 5% wage increase for postal workers
DUESSELDORF, Germany (Reuters) - German trade union Verdi and logistics company DHL, which runs the national postal service, said on Tuesday they have reached a wage deal that will see workers' salaries increase by 5% over two stages by next year.
Under the agreement, wages will increase by 2% as of April 1 2025, with another 3% raise on April 1, 2026, both sides said in statements.
