General Motors will replace 542 faulty ignition switch kits that were found to have faulty tabs, that are a part of the anti-theft system and don't impact the safety of the vehicle, reports the Detroit News. GM stated that it has fixed approximately 406,000 of 2.6M vehicles recalled for faulty ignition switches, the paper adds.
