LEAWOOD, KS--(Marketwired - June 06, 2013) - Former Groupon executive Kevin Petry has been named Front Flip's new Vice President of Local Sales.
Front Flip's mobile, social and web-based loyalty marketing solutions help businesses across the country drive transactions and visit frequency. Instead of accumulating points or punches, Front Flip customers have a chance to win digital prizes every time they visit their favorite restaurants and retail shops. Customers can also receive mobile offers and share them with Facebook friends.
Front Flip's client portfolio includes local shops, regional chains and franchise groups from major brands, including McDonald's, KFC and Pizza Hut.
As VP of Local Sales, Petry is responsible for expanding the company's client base in key markets, including Boston, Dallas, D.C., Atlanta, Philadelphia, Tampa, Minneapolis and Kansas City. He will lead a team of regional sales managers and work closely with the company's VP of National Sales, who joined the company last fall from PepsiCo.
"Kevin played a key role at one of the fastest growing companies in history. He knows how to take a new product to market and has a keen understanding of our client base. Kevin's experience will fast track our partnerships with local operators and regional chains across the country," said Sean Beckner, Chief Executive Officer for Front Flip.
Petry brings more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience to Front Flip. Throughout his career, Petry has worked with a wide range of restaurant, retail and entertainment concepts, from local shops to some of the biggest brands in the country.
Most recently, Petry was the Vice President of Training and Sales Development at Groupon. His team supported the company through its rapid expansion, leading every aspect of training, skill development and new product and service rollouts across North America.
Prior to Groupon, Petry held executive positions at Alliance Sales Consulting, Rubicon Interactive and Entertainment Publications. During his 25-year career at Entertainment Publications, Petry moved up the ranks and was eventually promoted to Executive Vice President. Among his responsibilities, Petry managed the company's local and national merchant relationships representing 220,000 locations across the country.
"I am excited to join Front Flip during this time of rapid growth. We are helping some of the biggest brands in the world engage with all of their customers -- from the hyper-loyal to the high risk -- and that's driving transactions and visit frequency. I am honored to lead such a talented team of sales reps as we introduce the next generation of mobile loyalty to the country," said Kevin Petry, Vice President of Local Sales at Front Flip.
