During this week’s roundtable, our guest was Jeremy Young, CEO of Tanga Network. Tanga has bootstrapped a ~$30M a year affiliate marketplace. It’s a Groupon-like business, but with much more sustainable unit economics and business practices. Very interesting discussion on how and why!
You can listen to the recording of this roundtable here:
DriveSmart
First up, Mallesh Reddy from Singapore pitched DriveSmart, a fleet-safety software business. Mallesh should be able to get much further by just focusing on closing one or two key enterprise deals. I wouldn’t worry about raising money at this stage.
Nanotech Galaxy
Next, Alex Louizos from New York, NY, pitched Nanotech Galaxy, a deep-learning technology for helping hospitals analyze their data and optimizing treatments. Alex has one paying customer, and has started validating the concept. It will take a year to fully demonstrate the effectiveness of the technology.
As always, I would very much like to hear about your business, so let me invite you to come and pitch at one of our free 1M/1M public roundtables. We will be holding future roundtables at 8 a.m. PDT on:
