During this week’s roundtable, we had two formal presentations and about 40 minutes of highly engaged, active Q&A.
qilo
First up, Vikram Kohli from Noida, India, pitched qilo, a talent management solution focused on SMBs in India. We discussed various nuances of the business, and I emphasized the need to get customers to start paying after a reasonable evaluation period.
Tailorkraft
Then Ankit Verma from Kolkata, India, pitched Tailorkraft, a custom tailoring service that looks like quite an interesting value proposition, but operationally complex. We discussed multiple aspects of the complexity, including business model issues, and where Ankit needs to be careful and mitigate risks.
In the Q&A, there were tons of very interesting questions.
