First in line to buy pot, first to get fired too

Pot may be legal to buy and use in Washington state, but it still might not blow over well with your boss.

The tie-dye shirted man from TV who waited almost 20 hours to be one of the first people in Washington state to buy weed legally has been fired from his job as a security guard, according to the New York Daily News.

Mike Boyer was forced into a taking a drug test after a client saw him on TV, said the site. He promptly failed and was axed by his boss.

Despite being fired for his quasi-celebrity appearance, Boyer remains proud of his status as the first legal pot buyer in the state. He has posted his resume on Craigslist in search of a new job.
