Hyatt Hotels in partnership with City Hotel has unveiled the rebranding of Hyatt Place Kathmandu to Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu in Nepal.
This launch signifies the debut of the Hyatt Centric brand within Nepal's borders. Situated strategically at the city's core, the hotel merges contemporary amenities with the distinctive cultural backdrop of Kathmandu.
Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu is designed as a go-to destination for guests looking to immerse themselves in the city's culture.
The hotel's 153 guest rooms are crafted for both functionality and style, with the provision of complimentary Wi-Fi to all guests. It boasts contemporary design and local art.
City Hotel executive director Akshay Golyan said: “After an extensive renovation, we are excited to introduce the Hyatt Centric brand to Nepal, offering our guests a gateway to Kathmandu's cultural and contemporary pulse.
“Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu is designed to inspire exploration while providing a modern local home base for savvy travellers, so they never miss a moment of adventure.”
The property also offers more than 8,600ft² of flexible meeting and event spaces, ideal for a range of functions, from business meetings to weddings, accommodating ten to 600 people.

The Centric Lounge at the hotel serves as a lively community bar where guests and locals can enjoy artisanal coffees, signature cocktails, and locally inspired bites.
Dining options include NOON, an all-day dining restaurant with a global menu accented with local flavours; and ZING Sky Pool Bar & Deck, a poolside area offering views of Kathmandu.
