Ernst & Young LLP (EY US), a client-serving member firm of accounting company Ernst & Young Global, has announced the acquisition of Dignari, a technology consulting firm specialising in digital identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
This move is aimed at reinforcing the firm's commitment to supporting the US government and enhancing public sector offerings.
EY Americas Government and Public Sector leader Doree Keating said: “We are excited about welcoming the world-class Dignari team to the EY Government and Public Sector practice.
“We believe that blending EY US’s commitment to provide customers with mission-ready solutions and Dignari’s IAM capabilities in the homeland security space will offer a highly differentiated value proposition for our government clients.”
Dignari brings to EY a workforce of 300 specialists who leverage innovation and data-driven strategies to provide advisory services to US government clients.
Since its inception in 2013, Dignari is stated to have been delivering successful programmes, creating impactful solutions, exploring new technologies, and using data science to enhance performance measurement.
Dignari founder and CEO Gena Alexa said: “For over a decade, Dignari has made a significant impact on furthering the federal government’s security mission with modern technologies.
“These efforts can be scaled across local and state governments as well — and when combined with the power of the EY network will strengthen outcomes for both the public sector and the people it serves.”
EY Americas Consulting vice chair Whitt Butler said that private sector companies can also benefit from the Dignari’s services under the EY brand.
Butler said: “Commercial sectors such as financial services and airlines, among others, will benefit from Dignari’s technology strengths in IAM.
“Together, Dignari and EY US are positioned on the cutting edge of how governments and businesses use technology to achieve results securely.”
"EY acquires Dignari to bolster public sector services" was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
