Exciting Announcement About LeBron James' Agent Made on Wednesday

Rich Paul is not just LeBron James' agent and founder of sports agency KLUTCH Sports Group, but he's also an investor who continues to expand his business portfolio.

On Wednesday, news of Paul's latest venture emerged, as it was revealed that he's the "lead investor" for Homecoming Network. In a press release sent to Athlon Sports, the new media company is described as a "visionary, video podcast network tailor-made for sport and culture."

Homecoming Network was founded by former Nike and Beats by Dre executive Paul Rivera, who is also the co-creator and co-host of James' show, "The Shop." Rivera is a good friend of the Lakers star.

"There’s never been a better time to back a platform that brings authenticity and access together," Paul said of his investment in Homecoming Network. "I believe in what PR is doing with Homecoming -- creating space for culture to speak for itself."

For what it's worth, LeBron James himself shared his excitement about Paul Rivera's new media company and Rich Paul's involvement.

On his Instagram Stories, the Lakers forward shared a post highlighting the news and sent a message to his friend as he embarks on his new venture.

"Yessir!!! Let's Gooooooo P!" James wrote, along with several clapping hands and raised hands emojis.

While Paul is the main investor for Homecoming Network, The Matthew Pritzker Company, Forbes Family Sports and Entertainment LLC and Heights LLC are also said to back it.

While it has yet to release its first show, Rivera's media company will reportedly focus on "community and authentic storytelling," with athletes' journeys taking center stage.
