Eurozone August Inflation Rises 0.6% Month-On-Month - Final Eurostat Reading

Investing.com -- Eurozone consumer prices grew by 0.6% on a monthly basis in August, according to a final reading from the European Commission's statistics agency on Friday.

The currency bloc's consumer price index, a key measure of inflation, was revised upward from a flash reading of 0.5%. It also marks an acceleration from July's figure of 0.1%.

Year-on-year, the final number was unchanged from the initial estimate of 9.1%.
