FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (AP) — FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (AP) — Enzo Biochem Inc. (ENZ) on Monday reported a loss of $3.4 million in its fiscal first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Farmingdale, New York-based company said it had a loss of 7 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and to account for discontinued operations, came to 5 cents per share.

The life sciences and biotechnology company posted revenue of $6.2 million in the period.
