ECB regulators anxious about impact of U.S. fines on EU banks, WSj says

Eurpoean regulators are scrambling to determine whether U.S. penalties against BNP Paribas (BNPQY) and other continental banks would pose a threat to the financial health of major lenders, reports the Wall Street Journal, citing regulatory and industry officials. The European Central Bank have told industry executives that they are looking into whether banks have set aside enough money to cover the rising penalties from U.S. investigators into alleged misconduct.
