EBRD extends €5m loan to Raiffeisen Leasing Kosovo to support SMEs

In This Article:

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced a loan of up to €5 million to Raiffeisen Leasing Kosovo, aimed at on-lending to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region.

This financing is intended to support investments aimed at improving working standards and processes, as well as integrating green technologies, according to an EBRD press release. Additionally, local SMEs stand to benefit from grant incentives amounting to up to 15% of the loan value.

The credit line is part of EBRD’s Sustainable Reboot SME Programme, which seeks to assist Kosovan SMEs in recovering from recent macroeconomic challenges.

Raiffeisen Leasing Kosovo, established in 2008 by the Kosovan unit of Austria's Raiffeisen Bank Group, provides lease financing to small businesses and private individuals. As a long-standing client of the EBRD, it holds a market-leading position with an approximate 70% market share.

"EBRD extends €5m loan to Raiffeisen Leasing Kosovo to support SMEs" was originally created and published by Leasing Life, a GlobalData owned brand.
