Earnings lead calendar this week
This week's calendar is quiet, with few major economic releases.
The only events today are quarterly results from companies such as Tyson Foods and JinkoSolar in the morning, followed by Saleforce.com, Brocade Communications, Urban Outfitters and Jacobs Engineering in the afternoon.
Tomorrow's big names include Home Depot , Best Buy, Medtronic, and TJX. German's Zew survey of investor sentiment also comes out early, and Bank of Japan's monetary statement follows in the evening.
Wednesday brings monthly retail sales, consumer prices, and minutes from the last Federal Reserve meeting. Preliminary readings will also be released for China's HSBC manufacturing index.
Thursday's agenda includes European data and initial jobless claims.
The only events on Friday are German gross domestic product and the country's Ifo survey of business conditions.
