Dr. Teri Rouse Releases New Children's Book JULIAN'S GIFT

Dr. Teri Rouse, EdD, a regionally known autistic and behavior specialist and College educator, will release her new Children's book, "Julian's Gift"

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / October 7, 2015 / Dr. Teri Rouse, EdD, a regionally known autistic and behavior specialist and College educator, on October 14, 2015 will release her new Children's book entitled "Julian's Gift". The specialty publisher, Green Oak Press, LLC believes it will be a new INTERNATIONAL-BEST SELLER.


The book will be published in two versions an eBook released on October 14, and the print book will be available on November 4, 2015.

"Julian's Gift" is available as an eBook pre-order on October 8, on iTunes within 52 countries, including the countries in Europe, the Pacific Rim, and Latin America.

In addition to iTunes, "Julian's Gift" will also be available for download on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles on October 14, 2015.

Through the children's book, Dr. Teri Rouse is creating a special forum to reach all children through the story of a child named Julian, who is inspired to grow and nurture a spider plant. The story teaches children the value of responsibility, respect, and care through the eyes of a student named Julian in elementary school.

The book was written after Dr. Rouse realized the beneficial effects on behavior in students after working with various horticulture activities. Her groundbreaking, first of its kind doctoral dissertation was written on this very topic and has already been cited in other works both here and abroad.

Dr. Teri Rouse, Ed.D., is an assistant professor at Chestnut Hill College. Her life work is dedicated to autism awareness and academic inclusion of all students. More About Dr Teri Rouse

Dr. Teri Rouse is a Certified Autism Specialist and received her Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) certification from Penn State. She is an exceptionally experienced educator with over 20 years of direct classroom experience and is currently a professor at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia PA where she specializes in teaching Special Education to the next generation of Teachers.

Dr. Rouse is also the Managing Director of KIDS Interventions & Direct Services, UBO which provides direct services to children, their parents and background and support for their classroom teachers.

She is a passionate proponent of People First Language, PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) and the use of horticulture activities to improve behavior and increase the academic performance of children.
